Sunny Bay Apartments are situated in the lovely village of Gulluk on the Bodrum Peninsula and was completed in 2009. The apartment on offer enjoys stunning sea views and comes fully finished.
Gulluk itself is a traditional and much sought after place on the Bodrum Peninsula; you can catch a regular dolmus bus into the village from just a few steps away from your front door, or if you wish to take a stroll it is only a 30-minute walk away in peaceful and pleasant surroundings.
Also, just a short 4-minute walk down the slope is the seafront and private beach where you can spend the day relaxing in the sun, swim, have a drink, or you can enjoy a snack at the local cafe/bar from the Boutique Hotel. It truly is an idyllic place to get away from it all and relax.
As all the residents of the complex are never there at the same time - this gives a feeling of exclusivity to the apartment and complex and makes the beach feel even more private and all yours to enjoy. I was one of the first to buy off the plans so I got to choose one of the best properties with the best sea views, the first block looking out onto the bay at the front of the property and no restricted views at the back (you are not looking into someone else’s balcony). If you stand on the balcony and look to the right you can see towards Gulluk town, turn to the left and view the olive groves.
The apartment is set on an exclusive development situated on a hillside; from the apartment you have access to a large shared pool and sunbathing terrace as well as pleasant walkways which are fully lit at night. The apartment itself has been built and designed to make the most of the stunning sea views and has two bedrooms and two bathrooms; it consists of the following;
The living room is open plan with a fitted kitchen; it has doors which lead out on to the balcony and in this room there is a sofa which converts into a double bed, allowing up to 7 guests to stay if needs be. From the comfort of the living room you can enjoy the most beautiful sunrise or the most incredible sunsets; the views really do have to be seen first hand to be fully appreciated.
The main kitchen of the holiday home is fully fitted and includes all of the equipment such as the hob, fridge, freezer, washing machine, microwave; also included is the ironing board, iron, a dining table which comfortably seats six people. Over 5000 euro was spent on furniture and fittings and the apartment has rarely been used. Linen/ bedding/crockery etc is also included the apartment is literally ready to move into.
There are two good sized bedrooms, the first bedroom has one double bed and the second bedroom has two single beds making it very flexible and ideal if you have guests. The living room area is a really good sized space and tastefully decorated; finally, there is an en-suite bathroom to the first bedroom with shower and the main family bathroom with shower off of the living area.
The property has immaculate tiled floors throughout and air conditioning; which doubles up as heating in the winter time. The master bedroom has a large sliding window which opens up to reveal the most stunning sea view. The living room has access to a balcony which also benefits from the stunning sea views
Outside you can enjoy lovely gardens with patios a good sized communal swimming pool with an extra children’s pool and your own sheltered private beach where you can swim, sunbathe and sail there are also jet skis available to hire from the hotel. There is also a gym on the complex for residents to use and parking space (not all the apartments have parking spaces however this apartment has).
The apartment is only a 10-minute drive from Bodrum international airport and a 20/25 minute drive from Bodrum town centre which is a beautiful and picturesque route along the coastline.
